Fairview Park Maintenance

In Spring 2023 the Coastal Corridor Alliance (formerly Banning Ranch Conservancy) took on its first Community-Led Restoration Project at our local Costa Mesa natural open space, Fairview Park.

We’ve had such a great learning experience and partnership with the City Costa Mesa so far! It was gratifying to plant a range of native plant species that make up California’s Coastal Sage Scrub habitat type.

Now we take on the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the restoration site, to give the newly planted native plants the best chance to establish into a native plant community.
