Privacy Policy

The Coastal Corridor Alliance (“Coastal Corridor Alliance,” “CCA,” or “we”) respects the privacy of our users and is committed to ensuring confidence and trust. No information provided to us through this website will be shared, sold, lended, or rented. Please review this Privacy Policy, as it describes the type of information we may collect on our website and how that information may be used.

Cookies

Cookies are small bits of information stored on your computer that help us analyze activity on our website. We use cookies to improve the traffic on our site and to help tailor our operations to your needs. The information we gather includes IP addresses in order to determine visits to each page.

Beyond that, the Coastal Corridor Alliance collects no personal information without your knowledge and permission, and we don’t require any personal information to access information on our website.

Online Donations

We use Neon and Stripe as our secure online donation service. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and require that you provide contact information on the Donate page. This information is disclosed only to Stripe. CCA uses it to send an acknowledgment letter of your gift, which may be used for your tax deduction purposes. We will also alert you to breaking news, upcoming events, and other important updates.

Secure Transactions

Your donation information is secure when you donate to the Coastal Corridor Alliance through Stripe (through our Neon payment gateway). Neon and Stripe protects information with SSL, which utilizes an encryption key coded at the highest commercially available level of security. Your personal information is stored on Stripe servers, which are physically and electronically secured. Stripe does not directly connect its firewall-protected servers to the internet, which further protects credit card and bank information. Stripe uses your credit card information only for the purpose of processing your donation. We do not disclose this information except as required to process your Stripe donation and we do not store it once your donation has been processed.
