The Coastal Corridor is located on part of the ancestral homeland and traditional territory of multiple tribal nations. While the Coastal Corridor Alliance is focused on conservation, restoration, and public access, we pay respect to these Native Nations past, present, and future and their continuing presence in the homeland and throughout the regional diaspora. To take steps to ensure cultural erasure does not continue, we urge you to learn more about the California Native American Tribes, by reading books, studying territory maps, and donating to causes that aid in the preservation and continuation of tribal culture, interests, awareness, and education.
