Banning Ranch Remainder

The Banning Ranch Remainder is a 13 acre carve out from the former Banning Ranch property. This land is privately owned and shares a border with the Randall Preserve/Genga. This land was carved out of the acquisition and at least temporarily will serve as the place where the oil operations will be consolidated. Access to this property is through an easement off of Pacific Coast Highway. Senate Bill 1137 (Gonzalez – Long Beach) was codified in 2022. This bill prohibits new oil drilling within 3,200 feet of existing residential areas.
