Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve and Ecological Reserve includes two different types of parks. The first is 135 acres owned and managed by the County of Orange – OC Parks. The second is 752 acres owned and managed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The property is located in the City of Newport Beach at the end of San Diego Creek, in Upper Newport Bay at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean.
