Unveiling a Bold Transformation

January 16, 2024

Banning Ranch Conservancy is proud to announce its new name: Coastal Corridor Alliance, effective January 17, 2024. We’ve defined the Coastal Corridor as the lands and waters from the coast along the Santa Ana River up to Adams St. in Costa Mesa. Our new mission is to protect biodiversity, foster community stewardship, and advocate for appropriate human access on the Randall Preserve and Coastal Corridor. The Randall Preserve (formerly Banning Ranch) will still be a key focus of our work, but not the only focus. We’ve partnered with the Randall Preserve titleholder: the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority to begin park planning this year. We are also continuing work in Fairview Park, at the Santa Ana River Mouth, and expanding our work within nearby disadvantaged communities! Check out our new website and ways to get involved!
