A Positive Update on SB 607
Thank you, @senatorcaballero and @senmikemcguire for pulling SB 607 and giving California a chance to get this right.
We’re ready for the Legislature and Governor to craft a bill that truly reflects our state’s values—one that protects people, not polluters.
CEQA is vital. It shields vulnerable communities from toxic projects and safeguards our open spaces, farmland, and tribal cultural sites. SB 607 would have gutted those protections—we’re grateful it’s back to the drawing board.
