Why do you work in this field?

The environmental field is something that I have been drawn to the last few years. I think living in California and in the city; it is very important to preserve land for people to enjoy, the wildlife around it, and keeping land preserved for many years. My goal is to help preserve as many lands as possible and to keep them going for generations to come.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Over the last few years, Saul has enjoyed many activities during his free time. Currently, he has been a Jiu Jitsu practitioner and a competitor for the last year. You can find him enjoying a cup of Blue Bottle coffee on the weekends, walking his two pups, and spending time with his fiancé.

Lastly, what is your favorite outdoor activity?

Saul’s favorite outdoor activity is running on the streets and in local state parks. As a young teenager who did cross country during high school, running is his escape and gives him a release from the stresses of everyday life. His goal for 2024 is to camp more often and run both a half marathon and 5K!
